The History of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority

Membership Eligibility

​

New members of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. are accepted on both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Potential graduate members must meet the following requirements:

​

  • Have a degree from a 4-year accredited college or university (no GPA requirement)

  • Be a woman of good character

  • Attend as many chapter-sponsored events as possible

  • Receive a majority of the chapter’s vote for membership

  • Complete the membership intake process

Alumnae Engagement

Our lifelong commitment to sisterhood, scholarship, and service is exemplified in new, continued, or rededicated membership on the alumnae (graduate) level. Beyond the collegiate experience, alumnae engagement offers continued opportunities to grow personally, build relationships, and serve the community. Our everlasting bond extends beyond sisterhood to a network of professional women dedicated to supporting one another around the world.
